  • Step 9: Follow the prompts then wait for the startup repair to complete.

Startup repair using system repair disc

  • Step 1: Insert system repair disc and restart Windows.
  • Step 3: Enter the BIOS settings as soon as the PC restarts.
  • Step 4: Access the boot order menu through the “Boot” tab.
  • Step 5: Modify the boot order sequence to boot from the system repair disc. (Change the list order such that the system repair disc is listed first.)
  • Step 6: Save changes, exit BIOS and your PC will automatically restart.
  • Step 7: When your PC restarts, press any key when prompted and follow the subsequent instructions.
  • Step 8: Set your language and preferences, and click Next.
  • Step 9: On the Startup Options screen, navigate to Troubleshoot, then Advanced Options, then Startup Repair or Automatic Repair depending on how it is listed.
  • Step 10: Follow the prompts and wait for the startup repair to complete.

Using the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment can solve various booting issues and AHCI Port0 Device Error is not an exception.

  • Step 1: Insert Windows media in your DVD drive, then restart your PC.
