Select a group by tapping on the indicated label. Then on the top right corner, there is an icon – person and a + sign. Tap the icon to add a number from your contact list.
It is easy to send an SMS to members of these types of groups. To send the message, tap on the three dots (vertically arranged) on the top right corner. This reveals some options, including “send a message.”
Tap on the send message option, which gives an option to select the members you want to receive the message, and then tap sent. This leads you to your android messaging app. Tap the app to start conversion.
Best way to add Number to Android Group Text
Adding someone to an existing group text on android can be a bit challenging. The best way to achieve this is by starting another group text with the new number you want to add every time. Use the following steps.
Access your android text messaging app and tap to open it. At the lower or top corner (depends on your android phone), click on the new conversation/new message icon (my case “+” sign), which shows a “start group conversation” writing.
Start a new conversation by clicking on the start group conversation label. Add everyone who was in the other group conversation plus the new number you wish to include in the group messaging.

Access your messages and click on the group conversation thread to open it. Then on the top right corner are three dots. Click on the dots to give you some options. Select people & options
This allows you to add people from your contact list to that conversation by clicking on the add people icon.
