SOLVED! LG Volt Boot Loop

While LG Volt usually gives a good account of itself in use, its performance still suffers from many issues and LG Volt boot loop is a prime example. For most of the time, the root of the problem is software-related so it’s a good idea to wipe cache partition, perform a factory reset, flash stock ROM, etc. If the issue persists, there is a good chance that the device is experiencing hardware troubles. Once it comes to hardware not working as expected, the best solution is to send in the device for repair.

What Might Have Gone Wrong

Software

Generally speaking, it’s not uncommon for software on smartphones to go haywire out of the blue and boot loop is one of the consequences. Unless you take action, your phone is going to be stuck in a boot loop which renders it useless. On the bright side, if you know what must be done, you could bring the device back to normal. Of course, if you lack confidence, feel free to let the pros carry out the troubleshooting in your stead.

Hardware

For your information, LG officially confirmed that a number of models introduced in the mid-2010s had manufacturing defects. The defects caused loose connections between components on affected devices and led to instability. You own a LG Volt and the boot loop is giving you a hard time? Then it’s strongly recommended that you take manufacturing defects into account.
