  • Step 1: Press and hold the Power button.
  • Step 2: Press and hold Power off.

  • Step 4: (If your phone is a Samsung model, skip to the next step) The moment the Start screen comes into view, use Volume Up/Down buttons to bring up Recovery Mode and press the Power button. If you see No command, press and hold the Power button then press the Volume Up button. 
  • Step 5: In Recovery Mode, navigate to wipe cache partition using Volume Up/Down, press the Power button and confirm your decision if prompted. Last but not least, navigate to Reboot system now and press the Power button.

Perform A Factory Reset

Note: Factory reset is going to delete everything on the device once initiated. Because of that, you should create a backup of your phone before performing a factory reset. 

  • Step 1: Press and hold the Power button then hit Power off 
  • Step 2: Confirm your decision if prompted. Wait for the device to shut down all the way then Press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time. If your phone is a Samsung model, press Power, Volume Up and Home buttons instead. 
  • Step 3: Let go of the as soon as the device vibrates. 
  • Step 4: (If your phone is a Samsung model, skip to the next step) The moment the Start screen comes into view, use Volume Up/Down buttons to bring up Recovery Mode and press the Power button. If you see No command, press and hold the Power button then press the Volume Up button. 
  • Step 5: In Recovery Mode, navigate to wipe data/factory reset using Volume Up/Down, press the Power button and confirm your decision if prompted. 

Clean The Charging Port

As time passes by, all sorts of things could accumulate in the charging port of your phone.
